These guys just tried to scam my grandmother. they wanted her name date of birth and asked if she could verify her ssn for the insurance. I got on the phone and asked what pharmacy he was calling from, he then hung up on me.
I received a call today @ 10:11A. When I answered, the guy identified himself as calling from Microsoft. He said my computer was sending strange messages. I said - "oh really! Than I asked him "what kind of computer I have" & the line went dead. I have no idea where area code 949 is located, but there isn't ANY phonr # that starts with - 001.
Called my cell phone, which is on the DNC. Caller ID says "Orange County Area". The exchange (001) is clearly fake, so why would anyone even answer these calls? Clearly a spoof scammer! They left no message.
