These guys just tried to scam my grandmother. they wanted her name date of birth and asked if she could verify her ssn for the insurance. I got on the phone and asked what pharmacy he was calling from, he then hung up on me.
My 87yr old grandmother got a call from 949-001-4521. Lucky I was visiting so she passed me the phone. She is very hard of hearing and had the volume all the way up, and on speaker phone. I had already heard most of the conversation. The person had an east Indian accent, they wanted to talk to her about her prescription but 1st wanted to verify her identity. He wanted her full name/date of birth/ and asked if she could confirm the SSN for her insurance. I got on the phone and said this is Heather, she doesn't hear well so she gave me the phone. I then asked what pharmacy he was calling from. He didn't say another word, just hung up on me. Scam artists trying to take advantage of the elderly. A-holes like this should be shot in the [***] and locked up.
