"This company has several offices, not just at the Fairview St location. They are also at 1820 E Garry Ave #107, Santa Ana, CA 92705 and “Worldwide Asset Recoveries LLC” is at 2641 Hamner Ave #209 Norco CA 92704. They have another office in Huntington Beach as well. All scam offices ran by James Trent."
Apparently Trent's employees are considered independent contractors. So their compensation is based on their own individual performance, they don't get a salary per se. Which explains a lot of the rudeness and law violations that occur with these companies.
9512718984 call my job and cell phone said her name is lee and shes calling abt a debt that beens 10 yrs ago.and if i dont pay theyre going to file settlment with irs, when i start to question them they start to get loud and rude
This company is a joke. Let them know you're recording the phone call (and record it) and all of the sudden the threats stop. Don't waste your time dealing with these lowlife idiots.
Just because a voice on the telephone claims you owe a debt does not mean you owe it
If a voice on the telephone claims you owe a debt:
1. Demand the person give you his or her name, company name, and address
2. Demand a debt validation letter by US mail. E-mail no good.
3. Do not pay the collection agent or anyone else a DIME until the debt is validated.
Of course they won’t do this, no scammer ever will, so simply block their calls and ignore them.
If they continue to bother you, and you know you do not owe any money, tell them that you know this is a debt scam and that you are making a complaint to the police for extortion. You might have to yell at the scammer and talk over him or her. Once you get a copy of the police report and they call you again , just read out the file number and the name of the PD or Sheriff’s office involved. Tell them you’ll be glad to send a copy to them at whatever address the jack***es are working out of now. If you can find them.
Hello, I've been told if you mail a letter to them (notification in writing) they cannot legally contact you or you can sue them. Hopefully you can find a mailing address w/o too much difficulty.
