Just got the automated recorded call from them. This is the 8th time in the past 3 months. It's a scam, if this happens to you report them to the irs fraud department. But sometimes I just love to call them and go along with it actin like I'm really going to pay just to mess with them and troll them as long as possible playing dumb to keep them on my line so that it takes away from them trying to scam someone else that doesn't know what's going on.
I just got the same "IRS" call 10 minutes ago. Saying they were Threatening to throw me in jail for defrauding the US government which is not true. No one would give me their name or any other information about their positions when i started questioning them. They hung up on me and when I called back and asked about the company without giving them my name the person on the phone had no answer
Called me yesterday and today. I called back this number today after receiving a phone call from them (it was an automated voice recording stating that I should call this number back and they said it was a sensitive issue) and someone with an accent answered the phone stating that they were from the IRS. I said I got a phone call from this number and they wanted me to tell them what my phone number is. first of all IRS is not opened today. Secondly, IRS does not call you asking for your information!!!! Thirdly, is IRS is pursuing charges against you or is trying to open a law suit against you... YOU will get a letter in the mail!!! Not phone calls over and over again. I hope this people find a job, this is pathetic.
