Not the same person that has been posting, but I AM ANNOYED. Bayview is my new mortgage company, after Bank of America sold off $12 BILLION---that's billion with a B---in what they referred to as non-performing loans. My dealings so far with Bayview have been fair and honest. Until this morning when two calls came in from this phone number. There is no reason why my Account Rep or even Customer Service would call me from this phone number, but they are going to be informed about potential harassment from this number.
This call is from Bayview Loan Servicing, LLC. If you are in default on your mortgage with M&T Bank, they will send it to Bayview for processing. I've been dealing with them for a week now. I got one letter that said my mortgage had been sold to M&T and then less than a week later, I got another letter that said that I had to pay my entire mortgage within 30 days or call the number in the letter, which forwarded me to Bayview. In trying to contact Bayview, every number that I called gave different hours of operation. I'm not joking. They are open anywhere from 7:00 a.m. EST to 9:30 a.m. EST and close anywhere from 4:30 p.m EST to midnight EST. It all depends on what number you call. I called M&T today, a number I had found online, held for 25 minutes and then right after someone answered, I accidentally hung up my phone. Apparently that puts your number into an abyss and they will never answer a call from your number again. I called back immediately and was put on hold for 45 minutes. I finally hung up and found another number online. Really, there's hundreds out there. I'm kind of scared now. All I wanted to do was pay my mortgage and it took over 4 hours. I can't wait for next month!! On a side note, the 2 people that I talked to, the customer service person that answered at M&T and Frank Morales from Bayview were both pretty helpful.
