The normal "You have problem with your computer" This is Microsoft Support etc.
I have had now maybe 10 calls from various numbers in the list and also some "Unknown" or "Private" all being the same scam. Getting a little p#ssed off with them as they a now calling at various times of the day and night, there appears to be nothing my phone provider can do as my number in the phone directory and to remove it will take month before it dissapears.
I am so annoyed with this phone number that keeps calling today sat and I must have answered once every hour they called. they kept hanging up, finally some guy on the other side said " [***] Off [***]". they must be hoping to scam someone with that computer trick again because last time this [***] dude did that on me. [***], I ain't stupid I've been doing marketing for years but it makes me wonder all of us paying so much money every month to Telus or Bell or local phone company what are they doing to help us???
Just received a phone call from this number. The caller ID was Top Google Pages. At first, when I said "Hello," no one was there, but then a man with a heavy accent finally started to speak. I put the phone receiver next to the television where Judge Judy was chewing out a defendant and left the phone there for a bit. Then I hung up. I've contacted Google--they don't call people on the phone.
I don't pick up on these anymore. I have a phone mail box. If it's authentic, they'll leave a message.
Spend a view bucks and get call display.
Anything identified as being from a state, don't answer it.
As long as you pick up on these calls, they know your number is valid and they'll keep calling, albeit with a different number displayed and a different state.
Don't encourage these guys: don't pick up. Simple as that.
