We don't even have credit cards. When it asked to push 1 to be transferred to a representative, I did so and simply said, "How do I get removed from your call list?"...they hung up. I called back and got a recording that said, "Thank you for calling back. To be removed from this list press 1 (again) which I did. I do not expect to stop receiving these calls. If anyone knows what I need to do to get them to stop, I'm all over it.
They call every evening and then don't answer or talk about some unreal credit card debt. I wish I knew how to get them to quit! I am on the do not call list also.
Just got a call from a recorded telemarketer (Caller ID info: TECLO 971-220-1002) wanting me to consolidate my credit cards into one lower payment so "just press one to talk to our friendly representitive." I did and got a man without a dialect, greeting me with a friendly "How are ya doing this evening?" I asked, "Can you get me off your list?" He belched and hung up. Nothing like a friendly rep for your company!
In Missouri we prosecute violators of the no call list and we DO go across state lines to get them stopped with the help of State AGs. I referred this to our AG so lets hope he gets them, it usually doesn't take him long..
