We don't even have credit cards. When it asked to push 1 to be transferred to a representative, I did so and simply said, "How do I get removed from your call list?"...they hung up. I called back and got a recording that said, "Thank you for calling back. To be removed from this list press 1 (again) which I did. I do not expect to stop receiving these calls. If anyone knows what I need to do to get them to stop, I'm all over it.
This is a courtesy call from Credit Card Services, Then there is something about lowering my interest rate on all my cards but I have to owe at least $3,000.00 on my cards to qualify.
I aget these calls from 3 different areas, one begins her call as "Hi, this is Rachel with a very important call concerning your credit cards."
I have pushed the digit 1 to talk to them, and have on occasion done so, and told them I do not qualify and am on the no call list and do not want them to call me again, but they still call, sometimes 3 times in one day.
Ken, if you will check your caller id closely, you will see that it Teclo. May this is their play on spelling to get people to think it's Telco so they will answer..
I get a call from these guys on a regular basis. When you stay on the line to speak to a real person after listening to the recorded pitch, they hang up on you. I am on a "no call list in Missouri" and have reported it to the state twice.
Received 2 calls, didn't answer first but the second said I had won $300.00, gift basket & something from Walmart. I asked How much is this going to cost me and he said nothing. He said he would email mail me a coupon for the basket and send a check for $300.00. What kind of scam is this? He said my name was drawn from some sort of game I played. All I have is the above phone # and the city, Gresham, OR
This has got to be a scam, nobody offers you free money for nothing. If the email has links, do NOT click on any of them, they may take you to a bad website that will install a virus on your PC. The check may be a fake and if they want you to wire money back to them, don't, because the money you wire them is your own real money while the check is a fake that will bounce.
