Foiled this telestooge ! The first time this bozo called it got thru but I had at that time put it's # om Digitone Call Blocker and PhoneTray Free. I was running Digitone when this stooge called and bingo, as designed by Digitone the phone never rang. The caller hears one ring on his side and then silence and then he gets hung up on. I love technology.
Anyway, you owe it to yourself to have peace of mind and protect yourself from undesirables such as this stooge. PhoneTray Free is free indeed and runs on your computer. Your computer answers the phone and blocks whatever # you type into the free program. All you need is a voice modem card...
a matter of less than 20 bucks.
Digitone is a hundred bucks and does a whole lot more. Nonetheless, I sure dont need to be bothered by these telestooges calling all day so I bought it and have been running it for about 5-6 months with 100% success.
I receive numerous calls from the same outfit wanting to "Lower my credit card interest," always insinuating it's my own company calling about my card,, but they are some bogus outfit that hangs up if you ask to be removed or to speak to a supervisor. Caller ID shows many different numbers or no number at all.

I speak with human......answer some non-important questions (how much I owe or how many cards I own, or whatever).....and I then ask them to hold while I go fetch my cards (leaving phone off the hook). I come back to phone in 15 minutes or so to see if they're still there.....so far...no, but if they were still holding.....I would tell them my wife done paid up and cancelled all the cards...sorry....bye...click.
I have had repeated calls from 971-373-2989 with an automatic message. It is "Card Services" trying to get you to sign up for a low interest rate on credit card balances of over $3000. I called back and someone a man answered and I asked what it was about. He identified me from his caller ID and then he knew I wasn't interested so he hung up. I called the FBI, and a very nice man mentioned that it was not a crime. They were calling from Portland. Does one have to blow something up like their calling machine and make it a crime before anyone will stop this.
These are those high end jobs BAMA ia creating each month that will get the unemployment down to 20& by Nov. What do you expect our corrupt gov. to do about any potential taxes and possibly getting some off entitlements. Just let your caller ID do what it's intended to do and if it's not a number you recognize let it ring and if no message is left or one is that's obviously a scam just smile and know that it's helping the economy STUPID!
