I got laid off and I called capital one auto to let them know as soon as I get my first unemp check. They call me 6 times a day. I talk to rep today and said why are you calling me there are notes I will pay Sept. 13 and I have spoken with 5 reps about this. The reps that call are not nice and you can't understand them. I had them for several years now and I would never go with them again and would not recommend them to anyone.
I've been getting calls from this number every 30-60 minutes today. they never leave a message when I don't pick up. Sometimes they hang up immediately when I do. Three times today, they asked for someone who I informed them does not live in this house. They still called. I did a reverse lookup and it's the credit department of CapitalOne. I suspect they are calling about a delinquent car loan (I called the number back and got the collections department of their auto loan division). Thing is, I don't and never have had a car loan with CapOne and they won't believe me that this other person does not live here. Irritating.
16 calls in two days...rings once and hangs up...sometimes doesn't even ring...i called the number and couldn't get a person.was capitalone auto finance computerized system.did not give any info because of all i read on this message board...i am calling capital one monday
This number keeps coming up on my caller ID. They never leave a message and no one is there if I pick up the phoone. They call up to 8 times per day, especially on Sunday! We have no Capital One card or auto loan and never have. We are on the DNC registry too.

This number keeps coming up on my caller ID too! Their first call starts at 8:00am and continues to call until the end of the day without leaving a message. Very irritating...I never bothered to call number, figured it was sales.
