Just got a call today also. Caller ID said "Castor C." Allowed answering machine to take the call. They hung up without leaving a message. This was around 6:15 p.m. EST.
First TEXT MESSAGE from 972-394-3200 states "I am in a meeting." Then from 900080004222 a couple of minutes later: "9723943200 is a land line #. Reply Y to send all TXT messages to this # as voice messages for 0.25/message plus standard message fee. Details at vtext.com, TexttoLandLine."
Please beware. Do not reply to that number Someone is trying to hijack your number!
Rec'd a call this afternoon, didn't answer, no voicemail left. Using the public detail listed above, I've filed an accelerated complaint via the FCC's Do Not Call website ans suggest everyone else do the same. It's quick, easy and may just add the spice to they're life that they're looking for by annoying others.
