Got a call from here. Did not answer.
They left a message indicating that someone who does not live in my house (actually only the last name matched) should call them back to verify activity. If this is legit, I would think they would have the correct telephone number!
I got a call from this number but I missed the call. They did however leave a message stating they wanted to confirm some recent online activity which makes sense because about 10 days ago I linked another bank account to my fidelity account via their website. Seems legit.
I keep getting calls from Fidelity investments many times 972-443-1960...I didnot answer....they didnot leave any message either...but they keep calling
Clearly bogus. In this day and age, if someone really wants to contact you, particularly if you are already a customer of theirs, they do it through email, not phone calls. This is the old-fashion scam that they have some great opportunity (separate you from your money), or they need to verify your account information (steal your identity). Never, no matter how sincere it sounds, succumb to this scam. If it is real, pursue some secondary form of contact to verify the company. Nothing is that critical that it has to be taken care of then. Virtually everyone here who says, "it's legit!" is part of the scam.
