Got a call from here. Did not answer.
They left a message indicating that someone who does not live in my house (actually only the last name matched) should call them back to verify activity. If this is legit, I would think they would have the correct telephone number!
Just go a call from that number, it's legit, Fidelity Investments. They didn't ask for any info, just leaving a name and number of a rep I can call if I ever need anything with my account.
I did ask Fidelity to assist me with a 401k rollover (Fidelity to Fidelity) which I've decided against, and they called from this number to check in with me. They are trying to provide good service, really. I explained that I am putting off the rollover and that was that. No more calls.
I just got a call from this number. A woman named Nicki Ferez left a message. Said she was calling from the 401k department about an account I had through "Travel Port, the company I used to work for", but I never worked for Travel Port. She left a call back number of 1-800-557-1900 ex2658. I checked on Fidelities web site and this number is not on their contact list. I think I will e-mail them to find out about this person.
