Such as Resident Collect Inc. who are scum do to the fact they wont settle a debt they baught for pennies on the dollar even tho the debt is almost old enough to default. Jim Steele from this number calls and threatens consistently, He will have your neighbors drop by if you do not answer your phone. He calls personal residences from business entities and harrasses your family memebers. He is unrelenting even when repetively asked to stop calling personal numbers.
GUY BY THE NAME OF WILLIAMS HAS LEFT SEVERAL MESSAGES FOR MY SON WHO DOESN'T LIVE WITH ME. HE GOT AHOLD OF MY NEIBORS AND ASKED THEM TO TELL ME IF WE DIDN'T CALL HE WOULD PUT OUT A WARRENT FOR OUR ARREST.
Collection agencies are not law firms: the few who are are such lousy law firms that they are rarely licensed in the states where they harass people for zombie debts. THEY CANNOT ISUE WARRANTS, "SEND OUT THE SHERIFF," GARNISH WAGES, ETC. Don't fall for this. Tell them, as colorfully as possible, to bug off, get lost, and drop dead. If they carry on and insult, carry on and insult right back - it's the only treatment these bottom-feeders understand. NEVER NEVER NEVER give them any financial info (banking/credit card). Ignore or block their calls. One of these idiot agencies was pursuing me some years back for a debt owed by a relative and I had calls from each of their business numbers forwarded right back to another of their business numbers so they wound up calling themselves over and over. I also had one of their numbers forwarded to a gay porn line. THeir calls stopped forever shortly thereafter. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE EVER.
A woman who identified herself as Amy Browder called and left a message asking the call be returned and to referance a certain number. She did not identify who she was trying to reach. I called the number, but blocked mine. The man that answered the phone identified I had reached RCI but wouldn't divulge what type of business I had reached. I hung up.
Google identifies this number as belonging to RCI a collection agentcy in Carrollton, TX.
