Asked for the owner by name. I told her "No, what do you need?" She said she needed the owner. I told her he was married, what do you really want? She said it was important to talk to him, so I told her to call him at home this is a business.
Same exact experience as those described above. Rude caller stated he had a 3:30 appointment with the "owner" regarding a legal matter and provided a "claim number" but would not describe the matter that the "claim number" represented. Only that he was Tyler from the Lucas Company. Not sure what the purpose of the call was or why he felt the need to call back 3 times in a matter of minutes. Good rule of thumb - if a caller is legitimate, they will represent themselves legitimately. New year, new scams.
received a call at 8:45 am stating that they needed to speak with the owner of the company, i requested to know whom was speaking and they gave me a name. i asked what company they were with and they asked why? I then stated that in order for me to get you to the right person you must tell me your name, company and phone number in case disconnected. person on phone said there were Manny with the Deluda Company and this is a urgent legal matter and the owner of the company was supposed to have a scheduled call with them at 8:30am.
I said you can speak with me because i know that the owner doesn't schedule calls when he is out in the field. he yelled who am i to deny him access to the owner and I said easy... I am the co owner and gate keeper therefore you speak with me. he continued to yell and asked my name and why would i deny him, i kept asking what is this about and if you refuse to tell me I will hang up. He refused so i hung up. He immediately called back and refused to leave a message.
tried to call the number back so i could harrass them like they did me and what a suprise ( sarcastic voice) they didn't answer! Imagine that! called back a second time and after 30 rings someone picked up and hung up. you could hear a call center type atmosphere in the background.
I received a call from Matt claiming to be with Smith & Associates. He demanded to speak with the owner regarding a legal matter. When I explained he was not available that I would be happy to pass on a message, he got more rude demanding another number for him. When I told him I would not do that he hung up on me. After reading other similar comments regarding this same number I called back and requested to be taken off there list they have hung up on me twice. Definitely don't have time to be harassed like this
