got a call at 6:17 pm from this woman that sounded half awake or on drugs and said she was calling for my step father about windows his windows computer...no joke just like that.smh..this woman then says it has a virus.i told her i work with computers and i would know if anything was wrong and told her i would report her and hung up.these kind of calls are getting horrible in the us and need to be stopped!!
Had already put this number on my cellphone reject list. Just got a notification of a visual voicemail from the same number. Didn't show up as a regular voicemail, and I don't use visual voicemail. Unfortunately my cell provider doesn't provide much in the way of blocking calls.
A well known scam. They will try to gain remote access to your PC. From that point, they can either see all of your private info, or download a host of viruses.
Don't bother reporting the number. It is probably spoofed. In other words, what you see listed is not the number where they actually are.
