Not in the 978 area code, but close to it. Have been getting calls every other day for a couple of weeks now. A couple of times I answered there was a man on the line with a very heavy accent so I couldn't understand what he was saying; something to the effect of 'me or someone asking about procedures of going back to school'; very strange. I had to hang up since he kept on talking, basically incoherently.
We get phone calls every few months from this phone no. 1-978-664-5909 and they say that are going to be in our neighborhood doing a few chimney cleaners for our neighbors and wanted to know if we were interested in having them clean our chimney while they were in our neighborhood. I tell them that story won't work on us, because our neighbors usually let each other know when we are having chimney cleaners, carpenters, roof guys, etc. doing work on our homes, as we know it will be cheaper for all of us to hire the same chimney cleaner, or carpenters, etc. if a few neighbors hire the same contractor to do work on all our houses. I also tell them not to call us, that we are on a do not call list, and next time they do, I will report them.
april 8 2013 just got a hangup call from 9786645909 same frustrating and harassing call when i call bk. the line is disconected last week i recieved 4 from this number must be scam or telemarketer will document each call on all websites i can this has been happening for a month can't stop it want everybody to know about this so we can ban together and sue these people i will also call verizon and report them once again.
NEVER EVER answer a telephone with anything other than
Good Morning or Good Afternoon or Good Evening
try even saying "your reservation number please"
in this day and age, they can only assume you are a business, and they may stop calling --
but NEVER EVER say the word YES on any telephone call unless it is family -- they may tape that and claim they got your authorization with that one word....
i get calls from 9786645909 when i answer the tellermarker doesn't speak! really now.. you are annoying and if i call the number back it says its not in service... i would like to report this number 978 664 5909 i am on the donot call list and i don't want them calling me.
