I received another "Your computer is infected" scam call from this number. I let the man (who had a foreign accent) know he was a scam and told him to stop calling and hung up.
Normally, I post the caller id information. However, because I suspect it may be spoofed, I will *not* post the individual's name that came up, lest I name an innocent 3rd party.
As an aide, I wish there was some sort of category for this type of call, or an "other" option... none of the other call types seem appropriate.
This company called me saying I had a virus on my computer. thank god my parents didn't give any information to him! they called me first to speak abou it.
I don't have a virus on my computer. Duh! I wasn't born yesterday.
I got the same call that came up as Kanicki G & H today. Man with a foreign accent that I couldn't really understand. It was something about a computer but that is all I could make out. When I said I couldn't understand him he hung up.
There should be something we can do about people like this.

I had to re-install Windows and I lost all my data. They directed me to a website where I was supposed to pay $ 500 to recover my files:-)
The next day I received a call from this guy:

Then, after a few days, a call from the same guy. Not sure if these are related or not. I live in Michigan. Should I report this to the police?
this phone number 989-892-9649 called me at 6:45 am on the morning my ex husband was having surgery. Not good it scarred me thinking something was wrong. Same thing strong accent I could not understand...something about computer....I hung up
