I called April back and cussed that lady out. She said why are you cussing at me and I said cause your a SCAM artist. I understand people SCAM people everyday but the fact that shes sitting infront of me playing me for a fool, WOW. I wanted to ask her if this was possibly a audition for PORN bc I would of banged her right then and there. HAHAHA
I worked for American Advantage for two weeks as a matter of fact one of these postings has my name on it. I was so desperate for a job i was willing to do anything. I have 2 kids and a husband and had been out of work for over a year. Everything sounded so good to be true but i hung in there for awhile until i just couldnt take it. I drove an hour everyday to get there and the hours were supposed to be from 9 to5 well [***] i was there at 8 and didnt leave till almost 6 and didnt get payed a dime nothing. I made a whole 40 dollars the 2 weeks i was there. Its nothing but a waste of time and money.The sad part is they make you go on the streets and sell this [***] in territory your not familiar with.I learned my lesson and the hard way.
I just went on an interview today, and I didnt get a good vibe about this at all after I was there, I was called by a girl named Rashida, and had the interview with April, and was asked to call them back today if I was going to get a second interview. I had a friend look it all up for me and I found that it is all a SCAM, April talked to fast that I could hardly understand what it was I was going to be doing, and the music was turned way up, so very hard to hear, plus there is a blind on the front window as well as the other windows, and none were up, like nooone was to see in. I was asked to call back at 4 and I am not going to be sucked into this. I am a mom of three kids and even though I really need the money, I dont see how money could be made at this place with out going out and selling things, like people are going to buy with the way things are today! So if you apply for this job and get a call for an interview, DONT GO,
yep same thing happened to me. got a phone call. made a date and time for an interview at 8213 Gravois Rd. St. Louis MO 63123 for an office managing position. Was told to bring in a hard copy of my resume. They also talked very fast so that I couldn't understand them. I asked the company name and they said "american advantage" well since I reserched about it I decided it would be pointless to go in for the interview. When they called I told them I didnt show up because they are just scamming me they went along to say how unprofessional I was for not calling in advance to let them know I wasn't coming and I replied saying "why waste my time when I will only be scammed by you guys" and she just simply wished me luck in my job hunt and hung up the phone. Not once did she deny being a scam artist. And the lady that was to interview me was also named April, what a surprise. always do your research!
