I got this same scam call from Sterling, Va. ... Idiot didn't identify who he was calling for, and even though he said it was a "time-sensitive" matter and that I should call back as soon as I received the call, he didn't leave a call back number; had to get it off my caller ID. When I called the number back, it cut off after several rings - no voice mail. Same badge number and name given - Jonathan Knight, Badge #06719. Computerized voice, sounded like he was from India.
Same story as above. I let the call go to the answering machine. Next time I'll ask him what my SSI number is. It's listed right on the top of the form 1040 idiot. I'm 5-1/2 years retired from the federal government after an illustrious 37 year career and yet in all those years I never talked that stupid. Go figure!
Got the call from Jonathan Knight left as Voice mail today, badge 06719 tax fraud and as others noted no phone left though my vm shows came from 571-210-5961
