Have received calls from this number on several occasion say that they are with Windows. THIS IS A SCAM. They try to gain remote access of your computer to hack your information. They tell you that they are getting error reports from your computer and need remote access to fix it. DON'T DO IT. Windows is a Microsoft product and; after a chat with Microsoft corporate; understand they Microsoft will NEVER INITIATE contact with you unless you specifically request contact. BLOCK THIS NUMBER! Also they have called back within minutes with a call that has no caller ID. It's the same demons.
I got a call on my cell phone at work from someone with a very thick Indian accent. Could hardly understand him. Told me that he was from Windows Technical Support and that they had been receiving warning messages daily that my computer was infected with malware and viruses. He wanted to show me how to fix my computer. I told him I didn't know him, didn't deal with strangers and didn't want to deal with him. He told me to check him out by calling his boss at 888-456-7041 and ask for ???? (No clue what he said). He called back, I hung up. He called back. I screamed as loud as I could in his ear. He didn't call back...Scammer!
The nice Indian guy tried to convince me I had a problem and he was Microsoft Windows technical support. I told him I was going to report the number and the guy panic and ask me why I would report the number. I then hung up.
