Same heavy east indian accented woman called my wife today. She could hardly understand her, but she asked about our Windows computer.... The big laugh, we have a Mac! They are up to something....
I got a call from this number today. They called yesterday too. They also called from 206-397-1127. I was aware of this scam before so I was kinda ready for the call. He explained that I had a virus or some other infection and he needed me to let him run a diagnostic. I asked him to wait while I removed my clothes. He said "er..alright...". I asked him if he liked it when men talk dirty to him while they masturbate...LOL. Sadly he hung up before I could get him flustered. Not to worry, I am sure the [***] will phone again another day.
Had a [***] call me saying he worked for Microsoft Computer Centre and my computer had a virus. They call about 4 times a year (in Canada). usually I string them along to waste there time lol.
Computer virus ruse, who could fall for that? Microsoft wouldn't waste the time or money to call you about anything - they'd just include a fix in the next days security patch and move on.
I just told the jack-wad I had an Abacus Operating System and that it is so rare that no one has bothered to write a virus for that system yet. Moron was CLUELESS.
