We don't even have credit cards. When it asked to push 1 to be transferred to a representative, I did so and simply said, "How do I get removed from your call list?"...they hung up. I called back and got a recording that said, "Thank you for calling back. To be removed from this list press 1 (again) which I did. I do not expect to stop receiving these calls. If anyone knows what I need to do to get them to stop, I'm all over it.
I have been called a minimum 10 times, and each time I have asked how I can be removed. It is at this point they just hang up. I get a call every week!
got a call from this number - pressed 1 and was transferred to a rep - stated she was with "card services". I asked " With whom?" she said "card services" again, and when I asked WHICH card services organization she was with, she said, "Can i please finish?" at which point I told her if she could not tell me which card services organization she was with, I had no need to talk to her and she launched off into a scripted pitch about how she was with a company that worked with HUNDREDS of banks and that my account had been reviewed and selected for lower credit card rates. I informed her I had no CC debt, was on every NO CALL list in existence and that Texas has strong DTPA (deceptive trade practices) laws and that this number needed to be removed from their call list ASAP, and if not, they would be reported to the Texas Attorney General's office, and she said "of course" and was still trying to speak when I hung up.
