We don't even have credit cards. When it asked to push 1 to be transferred to a representative, I did so and simply said, "How do I get removed from your call list?"...they hung up. I called back and got a recording that said, "Thank you for calling back. To be removed from this list press 1 (again) which I did. I do not expect to stop receiving these calls. If anyone knows what I need to do to get them to stop, I'm all over it.
Actually, the caller ID says "TECLO" I just got a call at 6:55PM CST 11-9-2011. Punched the speakerphone, then punched it off and blocked the number locally in my landline telephone.
I did some research and found out that SBC TELECOM.INC is the provider for TELCO number 971-220-1002. Call this number for SBC and ask to speak with the annonyance call department at their corporate office. You will receive a recording when connected but they will send you a form to file a complaint with the carrier.
