Caller ID was "FINANCIAL CTR". Message left was about: "reducing credit card interest rates to as little as 6% if I owe at least $3000 and one card is in good standing."
I think we should band together and buy the services of a private detective to track these horrible people down via the phone numbers they use and then hire violent people to call on them.
One trick I have used is to tell the person calling that I'm real interested in ..... (whatever), and ask the person to hold on for a minute; then I just lay the phone down and find something to do for awhile. I've often wondered how long they hold on until they figure it out. :)
