Caller ID was "FINANCIAL CTR". Message left was about: "reducing credit card interest rates to as little as 6% if I owe at least $3000 and one card is in good standing."

Just got a call from this number and happened to be near the phone. Answered, and was told I could lower my credit card interest rate. I hit the prompt to speak to a rep.
When "Ron" answered, I asked him what company he was with. He said "credit card services" in affiliation with Experian credit reporting services. I then began to say I was on the donot call list when he interrupted me with a mocking voice "and do not call again" and promptly hung up on me.
My question is are they affiliated with Experian or not? I will further my complaint with to Experian, and perhaps if it is a fraudulent claim, they can go after them.

Got a call from this number today. No message left. Just do what I do. If you don't recognize a number or have it set up as a named contact, don't answer it. Don't let technology get in the way of common sense.
