Caller ID was "FINANCIAL CTR". Message left was about: "reducing credit card interest rates to as little as 6% if I owe at least $3000 and one card is in good standing."
Rec'd a call form this #. It was a robo call offering to reduce my credit card debt (I dont' ahve any credit card debt). I pressed 1 so I could ask to be taken off their call list, but the guy was so rude he just wanted to talk about my credit card debt and wouldn't let me get a word in. Finally he angrily said "Look, I'm in control of this call, OK?" I said, "Actually, no you're not" and I hung up and filed a complaint with the Do Not Call List Registry.
I learned that this comaplny (They used the name "Card Services" tried to get people's credit card #s in an effort to "help them reduce their debt", but they actually just want the #s so they can sell them to other scammers who places charges on the cards.
When I tried to call the # back, the line went dead. It is not even a legitimate #.
