Caller ID was "FINANCIAL CTR". Message left was about: "reducing credit card interest rates to as little as 6% if I owe at least $3000 and one card is in good standing."
THE DNC LIST IS A BUNCH OF BULL SH*T. WHATEVER YOU DO....#1 DO NOT ANSWER THE PHONE. WHEN YOU DO, YOU VERFIY THAT IT IS A LEGIT # AND THEY WILL CALL EVERY DAY. #2 DO NOT PRESS 1 TO TALK TO SOMEONE....ONCE AGAIN, YOU VIOLATED RULE #1 AND MOST OF ALL #3 DO NOT CALL BACK TO BE PUT ON THE DO NOT CALL LIST BECAUSE.....OK EVERYONE ALL AT ONCE....YOU HAVE VERIFIED THAT THIS IS A LEGIT NUMBER. This company is collecting all of your credit card information: amount owed, interest rate; card issuer; credit card number; credit card experation date and 3-digit code. They are collecting and saving as much information on you as they can each time they call and speak to you.
Got another call from them. 7/11/12 @ 6:08 pm. I'm just sick & tired of them calling my cell phone. My cell plan has a limited # of minutes (a grandfathered plan) & they are for MY use not some scammers. As soon as my voicemail greeting comes on I get charged for 1 min. of my allotment. And yes, these scammers change phone #'s like most people change underware. Last night I just didn't answer my phone.
