Yes !  Nova Scotia ... they called today ..... many other numbers of the same. Usually saying they work for Microsoft and found a virus on my computer. Imagine ... Microsoft calling little 'ole me   lol
What they are doing is illegal and you are supposed to report it to LE

I'm in Nova Scotia too and they called a few hours ago but I missed the call.

Funnily enough, I did get a bad virus on my machine this morning and ended up having to restore it to factory settings. Wonder if it was them setting something up for the call that they made earlier?

Next time, I'll pick it up and give them a piece of my mind!
