Yes ! Nova Scotia ... they called today ..... many other numbers of the same. Usually saying they work for Microsoft and found a virus on my computer. Imagine ... Microsoft calling little 'ole me lol
What they are doing is illegal and you are supposed to report it to LE
consolidate your debt guys undoubtably. if they call from outside Canada they don't have to respect the 'do not call' list. As a matter of fact, they use the list to identify people to call! And, if you try to get them to 'remove you' they won't if you're in Canada and they're calling from some other country.
I got the same call,they pretended to be my computer company,I simply said you have to call back
since the owner is LAW ENFORCEMENT here at HOME(TRUE ACTUALY) they hung-up! It was verified and turns out to be a scam to get your computer info
1-971-220-2002,call to my home-pretending to be my computer company, I informed the caller the owner of the computer is LAW-ENFORCEMENT(true) THE CALLER HUNG -UP.Laws outside CANADA
are the same ...therefore had I given info...just imagine,the caller on display STIL-ON DATE AND NAME
