Yes ! Nova Scotia ... they called today ..... many other numbers of the same. Usually saying they work for Microsoft and found a virus on my computer. Imagine ... Microsoft calling little 'ole me lol
What they are doing is illegal and you are supposed to report it to LE
I show a call today from this number on my call display, also a couple of days ago. If they say they are from microsoft be careful, DO NOT GIVE THEM ACCESS TO YOUR COMPUTER. My daughter got caught in this mess in August thinking Microsoft was actullay calling her. She had to take her computer back to where she bought it to get it fixed and had to fight to have a fee of over $200 reversed on a credit card.
