Yes ! Nova Scotia ... they called today ..... many other numbers of the same. Usually saying they work for Microsoft and found a virus on my computer. Imagine ... Microsoft calling little 'ole me lol
What they are doing is illegal and you are supposed to report it to LE
What the f*&^??? My phone is in my HOME. Thousands of people are scamming and irritating individuals all over the globe. Not to mention that lots of these bogus calls lead to fraud. If you don't think there's something wrong, why the hell are you here? I have had 22 calls from "this number is not in service" in the last 4 days. This is not an invasion of my privacy??? Of course I can choose not to answer my phone, which I do, but the damn thing still rings, mostly in the middle of dinner.
i received a call from this number today and it was a survey on weight loss programs, ask to press 9 to removed from list and it told me invalid response and started the survey anyways
I also am in Ontario, received 2 calls this morning, didn't answer either of them, they happen on a regular basis, pretty sad since my number is unlisted.
Just got a call from this number with a recorded message re a weight loss survey. How do these people get these numbers, which can't be called back, and which are used for so many different surveys, etc. Where the hell is the CRTC (or someone else) on this - government only gives a damn about something that costs or gains them money.
