This number called us yesterday and today. I tried to call it back and it said it had either been disconnected or alot of other stuff. Both times they called it was kinda late at night. After 7 pm
same...but I refused to give information and continued to press them for information, they got mad and hung up. Typical scam..I'll never understand how people can fall for this....duh??? If you didn't apply for a grant then you can't get one...if you didn't enter a lottery then you can't win one...if you didn't play a sweepstakes then you can't win one.
They claimed to be from Apex (or was it Abex) Tourism company that has been operating for 5 years and wanted me to pay $1.95 for shipping fee of a free camera and free vacation tourism vouchers.
I told them I was only 15 after talking to them about the offer for 15 minutes knowing it was a scam, and once I stated my age they said "Then why have you been listening to me you dirty [***]-hole?" and then hung up.
They called me said they were fron PCH and that i won the 10,000,000 dollar prize and that they needed to know my bank account number to transfer the winnings. I told them to eat a ????.
