received a call from Annie with Cyber Wizard to fix all the problems on my computer with microsoft - asked how they knew I had a computer and it had problems and was told because I was the registered owner of a microsoft operating system. Wanted me to go to my computer and give them information - NO WAY. I hope they don't call back - scammers.

its logic when some one use VOIP connection, in the phone caller Id it will appears as 0000000000000000 and any Indian people have right to work in united state,so if Indian people call you up they must have an Indian accent. I just wrote all these good comments on this organization coz they fix all my computer's
issues and saved all my personal and important work data from my pc. keep going on. Good Job
Thank You
Cyber Wizard
My wife also received several calls from this number. The last time I took the phone to try and find out exactly what was going on. The 'gentleman' on the other end kept telling me that the Windows server was reporting errors on my computer and that my data was at risk. Finally, after about 5 minutes of me refusing to turn my computer on he screamed at me, "Why didn't you just hang up and not waste my time!". I'm still chuckling over that one. I searched the company name he gave me, Cyber Wizard, and found an 800 number, 800-550-1843. I could barely hear the person who answered due to all the call center noise in the background. I asked if either my wife or myself were customers of theirs. I was transferred to someone who explained they were making 'random' calls to help people with possible computer infections. Gosh, that's nice of them. He took me through the same bogus event viewer scenario descibed by another poster. Then he had me type in a URL for Log Me In. I told him I was not letting him access my computer and he told me that was the only way it could be fixed. I told him to just tell me to do what he planned to do and he hung up on me. I guess their 'charity' only goes so far. LOL Anyways, if you have some spare time give them a call on their 800 number. Be responsible though, they get charged by the minute for calls to their 800 number.
