I have now resorted to keeping my phone plugged into my fax line in the hopes they will take me off their call list. I can see who is calling on my TV screen and will return calls to people I know. If I didn't need the Fax I would get rid of my land line!!!
Calls my wife everyday. She did get a person taking though whatever she answered the phone. A very unprofessional sounding salesman. We called the number back and it brought us to a voice mail system with the option take your number of the list. It all sounded so fishy so I was afraid to go through the steps to remove the number, fearing I might get phished into them billing my phone account or something.
Someone from this number called my number on Christmas Eve -- left no message. I used *69 on Verizon landline phone to see who was calling ... I never answer the phone until the answering machine filters the call.
