This is a scam. My employer received a voice message on the general number. Someone named Sophie claimed to be from the "Illegal Payments Division of Western Union in New Jersey" and asked me to call her back at a '732' number. I called Western Union to verify. They said it was not associated with them and not to call back. If Western Union actually calls you, they will give you an '800' number. They will also not ask you to provide information.
this number comes across as Western Union on caller id . The number is registered to a public utility. They're using a decoy. And they're able to send a bogus phone number or false phone number while not revelaing their true number. Can this be legal. It shouldn't be.
I got a call from this number 201-263-6500, they left a message saying it was Sophia from western union, no explanation for the call. I dont deal with western union, and im not expecting any money or do transactions through them, so I think its bogus crank
Got a call from 201-263-6500, left a message saying it was George from Western Union and to call back when I got a chance. Same as BluGal, I don't have any transactions through that company.
