I just received a call from 201-267-5646. Do not know who is calling and did not answer. I have received several phone calls today from area code and numbers I do not recognize. This needs to stop!
they call my grandma almost everyday and sometimes twice a day. we have asked to be on there do not call list. As of today being hung up on again by them. I have know put my grandma on the dncl, i have called the national hurasment number, and i have called the federal tredcomsion number. Unfortunatly i have never caught the name of these people that keep calling. But the federal tred... told me as soon as i did to call our aturny generals office with there name. Im a sick and tired of these calls, does anyone out there by anychance know there name
I have received so many calls from these people, it's maddening. What's worse is that these calls come in to my cellphone, so there's no getting away from them, even when I'm away from home. I have pressed the button to be removed from their list, and I have pressed 1 and personally asked them to remove me. Both have resulted in repeated call-backs. When I first started getting these calls, I didn't even have a credit card to my name, and when I explained this, they said that someone in my household had, and was using, a credit card. When I explained that the number they called was not a residential number, and that I was the only person to ever have my number, they argued with me, and said that someone had a card in my name then. When I explained that I'm on the Do Not Call list, they told me that my number had expired from the registry recently. A check on the DNC website quickly showed that numbers do not expire from the registry. On a subsequent call, I explained that they were in violation of the DNC registry, and they stated that they're not selling anything, so they are not in violation. I explained that they most certainly are peddling goods (the hope of a lower interest rate), which WAS in violation, plus the fact that they used an automated recording to call people, which is another violation. I also explained that I know they're trying to hide, because they fake their Caller ID, and they said it was because the calls originate from the credit bureaus. Almost every single call results in them being extremely rude, and them either calling me names, hanging up on me, or both. These people make me so sick, I would love to find their building and burn it down, with every single one of these [***] still in it.
