Answered this call because caller ID said New Jersey and I had just had dealings with someone there. Went directly to robo call recording after asking for husband by name. Hung up & blocked!
I have given to them before and have nothing bad to say about them. It just depends where your heart and wallet are at the time they call if you are bothered or not.
I received a call from this number and CID was Bayonne, NJ. I googled American Children's Cancer Society and it links to a charity called cancersocietyofamerica.org. I didn't find either of these charities listed at CharityWatch.org. Be careful of scammers.
Be Leary of this group. They only give 10% to charity, balance is for administrative costs. They have been in trouble before under other similar names. Do some research before giving over the phone.
