Answered this call because caller ID said New Jersey and I had just had dealings with someone there. Went directly to robo call recording after asking for husband by name. Hung up & blocked!
This outfit is a lie. Only 10 percent of funds raised goes to the actual chartiy, but none of the donations to cancer patients. I block them because when it comes to money I use my mind not my heart.
Received call from a female asking for a donation for the American Children's Cancer Society.Never heard of them and declined. She said okay and hung up. i seem to be getting a few calls from charities that sound suspicious and declining them all.
ask any cancer patient if they have ever received anything from any cancer telemarketer society of any kind.
my sister has brain cancer, and has no help from any of these scammers.
These people called asking for someone who no longer has this phone number. When I explained this the woman kept going with her spiel and I just told her put thus number on their do not call list (haha) and don't call again. I never give money over the phone anyway. I think they're scammers.
