Answered this call because caller ID said New Jersey and I had just had dealings with someone there. Went directly to robo call recording after asking for husband by name. Hung up & blocked!
Called landline. Left no message. CID displayed Bayonne NJ. We NEVER answer ANY unsolicited call or number we do not recognize. If they don't leave a message the call is not important and ignored.
Call was bogus. Called back to see who the scammer was, said they would put me in touch with their "legal department" that did not answer. Maybe Trump will change how these scammers get away with these unwanted calls!
keep getting calls from the 201 area code - but different #'s associated with this - most all commenters are saying that this is a call for The American Children's Cancer Society or the American Children's Society. This has to be a for profit organization they hired to cold call people for donations - wish they would just stop!!!
Continuous calls from this supposed Children's Cancer Charity. Always from a different area code and number, never with name of "organization" on caller ID. Refuse to give out any credible info on their "charity"...very suspect. Scammers beware!!!
