Called asking for the old CEO who left over 10 years ago. He was "surprised" to hear that. Then asked for the new CEO. I asked what the call was about and he just told me he used to do business with the old CEO and he wanted to chat with the new one. There is no way I would transfer with that information so I sent him to a voicemail. He hung up before the call completed.
A man called from a collection agency insisting he could help us collect debts due. He would not believe me when I insisted that we had no past due accounts, then got insulting when I challenged him on this, asking me why "I was wasting HIS time?". I immediately asked him for the name of the company that he worked for and he REFUSED to give it to me. He insisted that he could not hang up until he had given me his rates, but I persisted in pushing for his company's name. He then hung up on me.
This guy is an unprofessional, rude jerk. Just why does he think any company would hire him to represent them? What a joke!!! We just lift the receiver and hang up now. Joke is on him.
