Never get into a discussion with this type of caller. Do not give information, do not curse, do not request removal from call list, do not do anything. Just HANG UP. The more you argue, the more the scammers will call back. And the more irritated you are, the more likely it is that you will reveal information.
Called asking for the former owner of my number, advised this has not been their number for over 5 years now and asked they stop calling. Also mentioned this number is (and has been for awhile) on the Do Not Call List and they are no longer allowed to call me. He said "mmhm" and hung up.
Asked if I was looking for a car loan, apparently he knew my first name from what I recall then once I said I wasn't looking for a car loan he immediately hung up.
