Never get into a discussion with this type of caller. Do not give information, do not curse, do not request removal from call list, do not do anything. Just HANG UP. The more you argue, the more the scammers will call back. And the more irritated you are, the more likely it is that you will reveal information.
I got a call & before they could say anything, I told them not to call me ever again. They would have to pay for the phone call. They hung up. It's clearly a scammer, because all you see is a phone number without a business name.
Now I am going to have to pay for the phone call!
This number has called me repeatedly on my smart phone. Leaves no message. I do not do on-line surveys, never list my cell number on line, do no shopping on line, have -0- debt, and registered on Do Not Call Registry. I do not answer calls unless I recognize the number or the caller ID. I have no acquaintances in NJ and there's no reason for anyone from there to call me.
