I do not deal with Medco at all, but I do have access to them through my insurance plan, so why are they calling me? They have sent me numerous applications through the US mail and I have not responded, because all of my prescriptions are the $4 variety, so their services would not benefit me. If I need them in the future I will contact them, in the mean time, how do I get them to stop calling?
yes it's medco ,and yes they have to ask you a question to verify that it's you on the phone and not someone else most of the time they ask for your last 4 digits of your SS# I don't give anyone that because the first 3 are the state and within 10 years of your birth date so with that in mind then it only leaves a 2 digit to guess always give them your card holders #

MEDCO calls from a TOLL FREE # not one showing an area code other than 800 - or 877, 888 etc. so stop mis-directing everyone here.
and to the person saying they CAN leave a message, YES they can, and have asked us to authorize them to leave a message, so if this "person" isn't leaving one, and MEDCO knows THEY can, most likely it's NOT MEDCO calling.
grow up people... there's a war on.... don't be a moron ... don't give personal info to someone that isn't verifying who they are, if you haven't any reason to have a call from them.... especially if THEY don't leave a simple message, after having you "sign" an authorization that they can, in the future.
I wouldn't be surprised if THIS 'Rx Manager' is working for this "foney" caller.

So if it is really Medco , which I received a call from this number just today, how come they just sit there and breathe on your answer machine and not say anything ?? Not one word, just hear someone breathing and thats it for about 30 seconds ...... Thats not customer service at all..... They need professionals making their calls ... not morons like you like to call people !!!
it is very possible the connection is bad and they can't hear you or you can't hear them well except for the breathing who knows, but you should not be so quick to call people jerks... do you want someone saying that about you?
