I got a phone call from this number today. When I told them it wasn`t me, he hung up. He called my daughter and left a threatening message. They claim to be from Kramer and assocites. I called back. he asked me to verify my personal information. I refused and that`s when he got really ugly. He said I was going to be served with papaers and he wished me luck. I took that as a treat, and if he truly was from an attorneys office as they claimed, he would know that was illegal!
I received a call from Kramer and Associates Carolyn Vickers who left a message on my work phone since I have no other phone stating she will send my information to my job to garnish my wages. I called her back and it was more like an arguement I asked that they no longer contact my place of business.
Same woman called and left phone number as 201-968-0327 x117, with a claim # allegedly wanting somebody whom I don't even know to call her back before "a decision is rendered" and hung up abruptly. A few days earlier this outfit had an automated robot leave a voice message with the same claim # and the name of the person; obviously a wrong number she dialed. This debt collection agency didn't offer a toll-free number and with the poor telephone skills and attitude shown by this employee, I don't feel like spending my cell minutes and wasting my time to correct their records. Beware of these calls, and if threaten with legal action, let them go ahead and spend their time and money doing it. These may be scammers trying to take advantage of most people who are in debt. If they get nasty with you on the line, just hang up the phone without a word. They deserve it! The worst thing you can do is send them any money without knowing that your money is going to lender who loaned you the money.
