Elizabeth from Kramer & Assoc. left me a VM last week about a "claim against me in Michigan". Somehow she got my adult daughter's number and left her a VM last week. I've told her not to respond in any way to these people. Was glad to read the entries here and learn that this is a scam.
Total scam, seems they are getting info on people that might owe some other debt and then saying they are going to take criminal action in your state. FIRST, since the 1800's there has been no debtor jail and it is a CIVIL not a CRIMINAL matter even if you owe.
Just tell them they are violating the fair credit act and you are reporting them. This usually stops it.
I received a call from these people today, extra 117. They said was going to be served papers against me and the state of Texas. I wanna know who these hikers think they are to file anything against me? I may owe some things but not enough to have them threaten to this extreme. It's insane. I will go to the attorney general of texas if this continues. They should be banned in every state.
They keep calling and leaving me messages that they are going to take me and R. Rowland and V. McQuire to court for unpaid balance of a payday loan. I've lost my job, have NO income and refuse to contact them or accept their phone calls which are highly ILLEGAL. I intend to contact the Attorney General in this matter because of their threats.
