Got a message on my cell from someone wanting me to do something about a claim that I supposedly have with the state of Arizona. This is nonsense, so I deleted the message before even getting to the end of it, but it was this number. The message is similar to the one reported by Kel on Oct. 5.
That is illegal collection activity. Tell them you will file suit against them for the illegal collection activity and they will stop their nonsense real quick.
It's a collection call from a payday advance loan company. They claim they are taking me to court to collect some ridiculous amount over a 600 dollar loan. I told them I'd be happy to pay them back the original 600 I borrowed minus what I have paid them already, but they're crazy if they think I'm going to pay them 2050.00 like they asked for. I told them to go ahead and try to take me to court. They won't because under Federal and State guidelines this is considered usury and is an illegal loan... They charge over 200% interest. They would lose in court. Don't make the same mistake I did, what a dummy I was to be suckered into this "quick cash loan".
