I receive phone calls from this number on my cell phone two to three times a day. I only answered it one time and all I heard was a short beep and then the call ended.
I started receiving calls on my cell phone today 2/21/12 from (202) 001-5000 at 11:59 a.m., 12:02 p.m. and 1:35 p.m. I answered the 1:35 p.m. phone call and was prepared as I read all the reports on the internet about this number. When I answered Hello, I received a beep beep beep and the line hung up. I have only recently started receiving unknown calls on my cell the last 3 weeks, which makes me believe my phone number got onto some scam artist list.
