i was contacted by this number and i was told that i was chosen for a 10,000 dollar grant. she couldn't answer when i asked her my name, and hung up the phone.
I received a call from then every day for the past 3 days. Heavy accent indian male. Trying to get my checking info from me. I said I wish to speak to your supervisor because I would not give my info to someone I could not understand. They hung up on me. Now they tried calling me again. I did not answer and they didn't leave a voice mail. This is a scam. No doubt.
Someone has been calling me from this number as early as 4:30 am and hang up when I answer. It's annoying how can I stop them from calling, my number is unlisted.
Yes I received like 5 calls from this number within the last 2 days. First a girl with a Indian accent. I hung up on her and today 2-16-12 a man called and claimed I won a grant for 8,400 dollars. I said how I did not apply for any grant.He said yes your name was picked randomly. are you so and so is your number so and so. Is your zip code so and so, I said yes why. He said are you going to spend your money? I said How am I going to spend my money! and He hung up. I will be getting a printout of my incoming calls then I will call the police and report it. I am also going to call the television station. Folks do not give any info or fill out any info on the internet. NOTHING IS FOR FREE, so if it sounds to good to be true guess what it is. and when they tell you that you have to send money so that you can get your money it is a lie. Let's stand up together and make a difference, let your voice be heard and Let these crooks know that us Americans are not stupid......
Wow, what a great time to get this Indian man's call. Im in the process of getting grants, so I thought it was legit until his voice started shaking. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR ACCOUNT NUMBER!! And don't believe everything you see (no normal telephone number starts with 0) It is a complete scam.
Amen to that. It is extremely annoying. I have been getting calls from them for days. How are they getting our numbers?? They are calling my home phone and cell. I wish it would stop..
