i got a call 3/14/14 from this number saying that i owe money for a loan which i never owed  anything that he had proof that i owed money and he knew my email address and that i was being sued for loans when i did not have any loans and i should get a lawyer and he stated he was a lawyer on behalf of loan collectors and his name was alexander and i was scared that i was being charged of something that i did not do.

If you didn't take out any loans, then you already know he's a scammer.  No one gets a heads up they're being sued - the process server just shows up unannounced.  You don't have to get a lawyer to tell you the caller is full of BS.  Per the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) you should not pay any caller who refused to MAIL - do not accept email or fax - a debt validation letter which shows that (1) you do owe a debt and that (2) your caller has the legal right to collect said debt.  Refusal to mail this DV letter within five days of the first call is a violation of federal law.  Also - debt is civil, NOT criminal, so you cannot be "charged" with any crime for failure to pay back a loan.  Please do report your caller to the FTC, FBI and your state's Attorney General.

Follow the steps in what you need to know. A legitimate debt collector agency should not have a problem with giving you a real business name and address you can google and verify via google street view, BBB etc.
For extortion Scam Operations, file reports with the FBI, your state attorney general and Department Of Justice,FTC & FCC..
